Weeping Cave

The Weeping Cave is a foul, subterranean cavern tucked into the hills of the northeastern Western Plaguelands, just west of the Thondroril River. Once a natural cave system, it now seeps with toxic blight and festers with grotesque fungal beasts and oozes.

A Den of Rot

Carved into the rugged bluffs above the Thondroril River, the Weeping Cave earned its name from the continual trickling of moisture through its rocky ceiling—water that has long since turned rank and corrupt. The Scourge's plague has thoroughly permeated the soil above, draining virulent filth down into the dark. Within, rotting horrors, decaying behemoths, and caustic oozes wander the damp tunnels, accompanied by an enigmatic corrupted elemental entity known simply as The Husk.
