Shalzaru's Lair
Shalzaru's Lair is a sprawling, submerged cavern located at the northern tip of the Isle of Dread in Feralas. It serves as a major stronghold for the Hatecrest naga and shelters their formidable master, Shalzaru. From within these damp tunnels, the serpentine invaders coordinate their aggressive presence just south of Feathermoon Stronghold.
A Serpent Den in the Shallows
Carved into the rugged bluffs at the northern end of the Isle of Dread, Shalzaru's Lair is divided into a massive main cavern and a smaller auxiliary chamber, linked together by submerged subterranean waterways. The interior teems with Hatecrest serpent guards and spell-weaving sorceresses on high alert. Deep within the recesses dwells Lord Shalzaru, the serpentine overlord directing the Hatecrest brood across the island. Its proximity to Sardor Isle poses a direct, constant threat to the night elf Sentinels garrisoned at Feathermoon Stronghold just across the channel.
