Sandsorrow Watch

Situated directly west of the bustling goblin trading hub of Gadgetzan, Sandsorrow Watch is a grim borderland in the Tanaris desert. The broad expanse is dominated by the Sandfury tribe, who aggressively defend the arid territory alongside legions of shambling troll zombies. An elevated watch tower at the eastern edge anchors the position, providing a fortified vantage point amidst the encroaching desert wilderness and the hostile indigenous tribes.

Even the watch tower at the eastern edge, within sight of Gadgetzan's walls, is held by the Sandfury. From its heights the Sandfury keep a wary eye on the goblin town, and travelers leaving through Gadgetzan's western gate walk almost directly into their territory, a constant reminder of the volatile frontier tension between Tanaris's opportunistic settlers and the native sand trolls.
