Razorfen Downs

Razorfen Downs is the ancestral capital and sacred burial labyrinth of the quilboar, carved deep into the colossal brambles bordering the southern Barrens and Thousand Needles. Once their holiest sanctuary, it has fallen under the sway of the undead Scourge, transforming into a festering bastion of necromancy.

Long revered as the ancestral capital city and burial grounds of the quilboar race, Razorfen Downs rests within the colossal petrified briars sprung from the fallen demigod Agamaggan. Legend holds that its arched entryway was carved directly from the Great Boar's very maw. For centuries, the high priests of the Death's Head tribe tended these deep, winding burrows and honored their revered dead. Yet despite its sacred standing among the boar-folk, the maze of bone and bramble has recently suffered a catastrophe far darker than any squabble over Barrens water.
