Rage Scar Hold
Rage Scar Hold is a cavern carved into the wilderness of Feralas, situated on the mainland not far from Feathermoon Stronghold. It is notorious for housing some of the most vicious yetis in the region. Strangely, scattered books, symbols, and traces of night elven architecture deeper within suggest the den once served a far more civil purpose before the beasts claimed it.
A Beastly Domain
Carved into the rugged wilds of Feralas, Rage Scar Hold is dominated by savage yetis that attack anyone venturing near their lair. The creatures make the surrounding forest trails hazardous for both Alliance sentinels and passing travelers. While yetis are common to the untamed reaches of Kalimdor, the denizens of Rage Scar Hold stand out for their raw aggression and territorial ferocity.
Traces of the Past
Deeper in the dark corridors of the cave lie subtle clues of an older occupancy. Carved stonework and night elven architecture suggest the cavern was once a barrow den or an arcane sanctuary. Forgotten tomes and mystic markings remain among the dirt and bone, leaving travelers to wonder whether unfortunate scholars were slaughtered by the beasts or if the yetis somehow gravitate toward the lingering magic of the site.
