Nightmare Vale

Nightmare Vale is a shadowed hollow nestled in southwestern Tirisfal Glades, just west of the Scarlet Watchtower. Once a lush forest haven, its trees have withered under the blight, and vicious predators now roam among the twisted trunks.

Before the Third War, this valley was a verdant part of the Tirisfal countryside, filled with songbirds and standard woodland game. In the wake of the Scourge's plague, the vegetation has blackened and rotted away. Ravenous darkhounds and massive vampire bats have devoured the native wildlife, turning the hollow into a grim haven for scavengers and beasts of prey.
