Misty Valley
Tucked away in the northwestern reaches of the Swamp of Sorrows, the Misty Valley is a shadowed, fog-drenched hollow north of the pass into Deadwind. The secluded basin is overrun by primordial swamp beasts, wandering swampwalkers, and tangled horrors. Deep in its rearmost cave dwells the colossal and terrifying Mire Lord.
A Fog-Shrouded Glen
Nestled beneath the high cliffs separating the Swamp of Sorrows from Deadwind Pass, the Misty Valley is perpetually choked with thick marsh vapor. Unlike the open wetlands to the east, this isolated pocket is dense with colossal marsh elementals, including looming swampwalkers, ancient swampwalker elders, and creeping tangled horrors. At the far end of the misty gorge lies a cavern that serves as the lair of the Mire Lord, one of the most formidable natural threats haunting the bog.
