Hushed Bank

The Hushed Bank is the shadowy western shoreline of Duskwood, bordering the river that divides the forest from Westfall. Stretching from the junction near the Three Corners south toward Stranglethorn Vale, it is a quiet yet hazardous woodland stalked by prowling beasts and shadowed by dark mysteries.

Running along the river boundary between Duskwood and Westfall, the Hushed Bank marks the transition from open plains and sunlit farms to pervasive, unnatural twilight. The wooden covered bridge crosses the river here, offering passage to travelers heading west out of the grim wood. Thick underbrush and creeping fog dominate the riverbanks, where large spiders and hungry forest wolves stalk unwary wayfarers who stray from the beaten path.
