High Wilderness
The High Wilderness is an expansive, untamed stretch of primordial forest covering much of western Feralas. Bordered by the Verdantis River to the east and the Forgotten Coast to the west, it shelters a wide array of wildlife, wandering treants, and dangerous beasts beneath its towering emerald canopy.
The Primordial Canopy
Stretching across the western half of Feralas, the High Wilderness represents the quintessential untamed wilderness of southern Kalimdor. Thick foliage and colossal trees block out much of the sky, creating a lush expanse teeming with wolves, bears, hippogryphs, and yetis. Ancient treants wander among the roots, while aggressive ogre clans establish footholds in the shaded clearings. Navigating this vast green expanse requires vigilance, as the dense brush hides both natural predators and lingering primeval hazards.
