Feral Scar Vale
Feral Scar Vale is a rocky gorge tucked within the High Wilderness of western Feralas. Overrun by territorial Feral Scar yetis, its cavernous tunnels are notoriously perilous to travelers who venture off the overgrown forest trails.
Lair of the Yetis
Situated amid the thick foliage and sheer cliffs of the High Wilderness, Feral Scar Vale serves as the primary den for the savage Feral Scar yetis. While yetis are common in the snowy peaks of Alterac and Dun Morogh, these primal brutes have adapted completely to the wild, humid climate of Feralas. They fiercely defend the vale's cave network, hoarding bone trophies and aggressively driving off any intruders who wander into their hunting grounds.
Curiosities in the Caves
Beyond the primal danger of the yetis, the deeper recesses of Feral Scar Vale hide unexpected oddities. Gnomish engineering distress signals have occasionally been tracked into these dark caverns, where lost exploratory devices—such as stranded robotic survey chickens—have ended up trapped by the ferocious beasts, awaiting activation and extraction.
