Golden Plains

The Golden Plains form a vast, sun-drenched basin stretching southeast of Thunder Bluff in central Mulgore. Cherished by the tauren, these sweeping grasslands serve as prime hunting territory and a vital grazing habitat for wandering herds of kodo.

Spreading out beneath the towering mesas of Thunder Bluff, the Golden Plains represent the untamed heart of Mulgore. The shifting sea of golden and green grass offers an abundant sanctuary for local wildlife, making it one of the most treasured traditional hunting grounds of the nomadic tauren. Broad kodo herds roam across the rolling basin, while hunters share stories of legendary quarry, most notably the great kodo Arra'chea, who wanders quietly through the tall stalks.
