Gol'Bolar Quarry Mine

Gol'Bolar Quarry Mine is an overrun excavation pit deep within the heart of Gol'Bolar Quarry in eastern Dun Morogh. Originally worked by dwarven miners, the tunnels breached subterranean trogg caverns, unleashing a violent infestation that claimed the entire site. Today, the deepest shafts serve as the stronghold for the trogg warband led by the brute Hammerspine.

The mine was established by Ironforge dwarves seeking stone and rich ore deposits beneath the craggy peaks of Dun Morogh. Work came to an abrupt, violent halt when pickaxes fractured a wall into an ancient subterranean cavern system inhabited by troggs. Swarming out from the dark, the subterranean beasts overwhelmed the work crews and forced a hasty retreat, ultimately spilling outward to overrun the surrounding quarry pit as well.
