Fallen Sky Lake

Fallen Sky Lake is a secluded body of water nestled deep within the forests of eastern Ashenvale. Situated between Silverwing Outpost and the encroaching Warsong Labor Camp, the serene waters hide danger in the form of hostile shadethicket woodkin that aggressively defend the lake and its central isle.

Tucked south of Silverwing Outpost and just west of the Warsong Labor Camp, Fallen Sky Lake offers a fleeting glimpse of Ashenvale's natural splendor before the Orcish axes took root nearby. The shores and the small islet rising from the middle of the lake are inhabited by shadethickets—corrupted or territorial wildkin that view any two-legged intruder as a threat. The heart of the island serves as the domain of a powerful Shadethicket Oracle, whose presence keeps the local woodkin bound to the grove and relentlessly vigilant against travelers passing through.
