Drywhisker Gorge
Drywhisker Gorge is a rugged cleft in the eastern mountains of the Arathi Highlands, situated northeast of the Horde outpost of Hammerfall. The gorge and its inner cavern are held by a hostile clan of kobolds, who fiercely guard rich mineral deposits and ancient elemental relics buried deep underground.
A Warren in the Eastern Crags
Tucked away in the mountainous folds east of Hammerfall, Drywhisker Gorge serves as the primary redoubt of the Drywhisker clan of kobolds. While kobolds are often dismissed as simple mine pests, the Drywhiskers in Arathi are heavily entrenched. They guard their subterranean passages with fierce territorial tenacity, working veins of rare Lesser Bloodstone Ore and defending the deep recesses of the earth. Their proximity makes them a persistent nuisance to the nearby orcs of Hammerfall.
