Drowned Reef
The Drowned Reef is a treacherous stretch of coastal waters off the southern cliffs of the Arathi Highlands. Beneath the waves lie ancient sunken ruins, claimed by hostile Daggerspine naga who appear able to control the bay's tides, endangering passing vessels.
A Graveyard of Ships
Just outside the hidden entrance to Faldir's Cove, the Drowned Reef forms a watery graveyard for navigators. Shattered ships, including the Maiden's Folly and the Spirit of Silverpine, lie submerged beneath the waves. Daggerspine naga led by Prince Nazjak inhabit the reef and appear able to control the bay's tides, dooming crews seeking refuge in the cove.
The Sunken City
Those brave or foolish enough to dive into the deep water will discover the submerged architecture of an ancient elven city. Calcified elven gems remain among its drowned ruins.
