Circle of Inner Binding
The Circle of Inner Binding is an ancient ring of ritual stones situated in the southern hills of the Arathi Highlands, just east of Stromgarde Keep. Guarded by hostile earth elementals, it holds the Stone of Inner Binding, the most potent seal used to restrain the imprisoned elemental princess Myzrael deep beneath the earth.
The Core Seal
Perched upon a plateau south of the main road, the Circle of Inner Binding anchors the strongest of the ancient wards sealing Myzrael beneath Arathi. Towering slabs surround the central Stone of Inner Binding, which thrums with dense geo-magical power. Enormous rumbling earth elementals patrol the stones relentlessly, drawn to the site's resonance or bound as guardians. Despite these potent wards, cracks in this inner seal permit the trapped entity beneath the Highlands to reach out telepathically, whispering pleas for freedom to unsuspecting wanderers who handle shards of its stone.
