Quest
Treacherous Cold
Treacherous Cold is a recovery effort in the treacherous high peaks of Dun Morogh following devastating snow and ice slides. Adventurers are tasked with retrieving the inscribed rifles of fallen Ironforge mountaineers to ensure their identities are confirmed and their families receive closure.
Quest text
Even mountaineers from Ironforge have to keep their wits about them when traversing through the peaks of Dun Morogh. Falling snow and ice often spells the end of some more novice members' lives.
After a slide, I usually try to find any sign of survivors or victims--while praying to the Light that there's nothing to be found. But with the elements acting up, I've held off wandering too far. If you could look for some lost mountaineers and bring me their rifles, I will return them to Ironforge.

The mountaineers engrave their names on the stock of their rifles. It helps identify them should something happen. I'll send these back to Ironforge--there someone will pass them on to any family.
