Silky Sutures
Silky Sutures is a Horde quest in the Arathi Highlands offered by Doctor Gregory Victor in the outpost of Hammerfall. Frustrated by unrepaired siege damage and dwindling medical supplies, the camp's resident physician recruits adventurers to gather venomous highland spider silk for use as emergency field sutures. The task highlights the desperate, resource-starved conditions facing the defenders of Hammerfall as they struggle to keep their guards and laborers on their feet.
Quest text
This encampment is being left to rot. The siege damage stands, unrepaired, as if neglect were policy. I won't permit that same decay here. The infirmary answers to me, and I intend to keep it functional.
We are nearly out of supplies. I'm going to need more equipment--enough to keep the workers and guards on their feet.
Under pressure, we can make quite an effective field suture using twisted spider silk.
Adventurer, bring me some from the spiders that stalk these highlands.
