Lost in the Thicket Things

My husband, Ardin, has a rare gift for sensing nature. He'll scale any peak to gather the herbs and flowers I need for my alchemy, keeping our shelves and pantry stocked.

But I fear he's wandered into trouble. An excavation crew passed through seeking supplies. They spoke, among other things, of towering grasses unlike anything they'd ever seen. Those were what he told me he had to go see for himself. He's been gone too long!
