Quest
Abominable Creatures
Abominable Creatures is a quest given by Captain Truman, a human loyalist desperately awaiting reinforcements on the outskirts of Lordaeron's fallen capital. Believing his commander—a revered Grand Marshal—is still valiantly fighting in the nearby Ruins of Lordaeron, Truman implores a capable adventurer to track him down. The mission exposes the grim fate of the kingdom's lost defenders and the bitter hostility smoldering among surviving loyalists.
Quest text
Ah, a fellow traveler. It's about time Lordaeron sent reinforcements.
My master has already charged into the fray and has ordered me to maintain my post. It has been quite some time, however.
I don't dare trust this task to any of these filthy half breeds, but if I could impose on you a favor, I beg of you to find me the Grand Marshal. He is the tallest, most statuesque hero you've ever laid eyes on. You'll know him when you see him.
Progress
Good to see you're still alive and kicking! How fares the battle? Have you seen my lord?
Completion
Show the words
Truman looks at the head of his former lord in horror and disgust.
Is this... Some kind of joke? Why would you bring me this monstrosity's head?
Get out of my sight! I should have known better than to trust someone who allies themselves with the type of filth you do. The true sons of Lordaeron will reclaim our home. And when we do we'll finally be free to purge it of beasts and those who consort with them like you!
