Al'Aketh Thugs

The peaceful roads around Thendal Grove are threatened by a violent band of Al'Aketh cultists occupying the nearby temple ruins. Dispatched from the Shrine of Akir under orders to harass wayfarers and force recruits into their ranks, these zealots pose an immediate danger to local travelers. Hanaa Nightwind tasks adventurers with breaking their hold and slaying their brutish commander.

A band of Al'Aketh cult ruffians have taken up residence near the temple ruins just southwest of here, led by a real monster called Malduko Cloudcrush. This rabble has no doubt been dispatched here by High Priestess Lorthuna at the Shrine of Akir to attack travelers and coerce our people into joining the cult.

I need to stay here at my post to alert travelers leaving the grove of the danger, but I would be grateful if you could do something about those cultists and their leader for me.

I suspect that seeing a few of their fellows bleeding on the ground will do wonders to dissuade any zealous ambitions these thugs might have had.

It was all I could do to stop myself from going over and joining you from my position here. I can only hope that these louts got the message and clear out of here soon.

Thank you, adventurer. You have the gratitude of the Rangers of Thendal Grove.
