Quest · Zephras Isle · Level 5
Foul Matriarch
Foul Matriarch is a trial of survival assigned by Aetheen of the Gales to budding initiates in Thendal Village. The task demands delving into the southern caves to culled the scavenging ursera and slay their vicious den mother, Urs'anah. Completing the hunt proves that an adventurer possesses the resolve required to face greater perils across Zephras Isle.
Quest text
Rorian informed you that I've been watching you. I now offer you a test of resolve. However, be warned--it will send you into great danger.
Go to the caves to the south. Thin out the ursera's numbers there, and find their matriarch, one the rangers call "Urs'anah". Put her down and bring me proof of her demise. Once you have done that, you will have taken an important step on your path.
Progress
What I ask of you is not easy, but you must be prepared for much greater challenges if you are to survive long enough to be of service to Zephras Isle.
Completion

Very well done. You've felled beasts and laid low cultist interlopers. You have shown great promise but your path must soon take you beyond the relative safety of Thendal Village.
