Quest
Rare Books
Rare Books is an Alliance quest in Northshire Valley focused on recovering two stolen magical primers for Brother Paxton. Kobolds have hauled the missing texts into the Jasperlode Mine, where they appear to be studying elementary magic and summoning rituals.
Quest text
There are just two books left missing on Brother Paxton's list: "Geomancy for Curious Young Wizards" and "Arcane Explainer: Magical Stuff in Simple Words".
The kobolds must have taken them to the Jasperlode Mine. Please track down those two books and bring them back to Brother Paxton.
But I'm afraid it will be quite dangerous. If the "apprentice" kobold was summoning an elemental, who knows what the master can do. I'd bring some friends if I were you.

Oh, friend! Thank you so much for saving my library. You've done me an amazing service. Please take one of these fine weapons. They were intended for the militia, but you can make better use of them.
