Watch Captain Parker
Guard Parker is a vigilant town guardsman stationed at the Three Corners outpost in the Redridge Mountains. Tasked with patrolling the roads and monitoring aggressive gnoll packs, he serves as an early line of defense for travelers heading into Lakeshire.
On Guard at Three Corners
Positioned at the vital junction known as Three Corners, Parker keeps watch over the roads connecting Elwynn Forest, Duskwood, and Redridge. With Stormwind's military resources stretched thin and little official reinforcement reaching the region, solo watchmen like Parker carry the burden of keeping the crossroads clear of bandits, prowling predators, and raiding gnolls.
Assessing the Gnoll Threat
Parker's immediate concern is the gnoll encampments gathering to the north and east of his post. As packs encroach closer toward the roadway, he sends able-bodied travelers to carry word of the gathering gnoll force to Deputy Feldon in Lakeshire. The Redridge pack's growing boldness poses an immediate danger to supply convoys and refugees seeking shelter in Lakeshire.
A Touch of Warmth
Life on a lonely roadside post can be grim, but small kindnesses still find their way to Three Corners. Darcy, the server from the Lakeshire Inn, sends Parker a warm lunch while he is out on patrol. Touched by the gesture, Parker asks the adventurer who delivered it to fetch a bouquet from Lakeshire's herbalist and bring it back to her as a token of his appreciation, without telling the herbalist whom the flowers are from or for.
