Lord Shalzaru

Lord Shalzaru commands the Hatecrest naga, directing their presence along the southern coast of Feralas. From his subterranean lair within a cavern on the Isle of Dread, he enforces his rule through cruelty and ruthless authority. Under his command, the Hatecrest scour the ancient ruins of ancient Kalimdor, searching for forgotten treasures and powerful relics left behind from the Sundering.

During excavations south of the primary ruins across the Isle of Dread, Shalzaru personally uncovered a strange, ancient relic. The purpose and power of this artifact remain a mystery, but its recovery by such a powerful naga warlord presents a clear threat. Operatives on the mainland seek brave champions to venture into the serpent's den, end Shalzaru's command, and secure the odd relic before the Hatecrest can turn it to darker ends.
