James Halloran
James Halloran is a human tanner working out of the Wetlands to supply fine hides across the eastern continents. Based in Menethil Harbor, he makes a living harvesting the tough, prized skins of the region's native crocolisks. He relies on passing travelers and nearby trade channels to gather raw materials and transport his finished leathers to market.
A Tanner in the Marshes
From his home in Menethil Harbor, James Halloran makes his living from the marshland just outside town. As an enterprising tanner, Halloran recognized that the perilous bogs offer a lucrative commodity: crocolisk skins. Transforming the rugged hide of marsh reptiles into high-quality leather requires rare craftsmanship, and Halloran's finished goods are shipped out through local trade channels to buyers all across Azeroth.
Hides, Apprentices, and Daily Trade
Operating so close to the marsh comes with constant danger. Halloran cannot easily hunt every beast himself while tending to curing vats and trade logistics. He frequently hires hardy travelers to handle the rougher chores of skinning young marsh beasts and managing routine deliveries between his work site and surrounding settlements, ensuring his bustling leather craft stays fully supplied.
