Greatmother Hawkwind

Greatmother Hawkwind spends her days beside the fresh water well at Camp Narache, serving as the spiritual matriarch for young tauren beginning their rites of passage. Though years have slowed her stride, she refuses to let age sideline her duty to the village. She believes that every member of the tribe, young or old, has an active role to play in sustaining the community, often asking fledgling youths to lend a hand with simple domestic chores like fetching fresh water.

As the mother of Chief Hawkwind, the chieftain of Camp Narache, Greatmother Hawkwind provides steady counsel and quiet dignity amidst the threats facing Red Cloud Mesa. While her son organizes hunters and warriors against encroaching Bristleback quilboar and local predators, she tends to the moral heart of the settlement, reminding the newly awakened that strength begins with humility and service to one's kin.
