Galgar

Situated near the cooking fire of the Den in the Valley of Trials, Galgar provides sustenance for young orcs and trolls undergoing their initial rites of passage. Durotar is a dry, unforgiving red wasteland where every scrap of sustenance must be wrung from the landscape. By putting novice warriors to work gathering ripe cactus fruit, Galgar tests their attention and resilience while keeping his kitchen stocked.

Galgar's specialty recipe is known as Cactus Apple Surprise. While he openly acknowledges that hunting down spiny desert fruit is an intentionally simple task designed to ease fresh recruits into life as adventurers, the end product remains a staple ration for hungry trainees. Even the most hardened warrior of the Horde must start somewhere, and under Galgar's watchful eye, that journey begins with desert foraging.
