Duke Hydraxis

Perched on a solitary rock northeast of the Ravencrest Monument in Azshara, Duke Hydraxis serves as the primary emissary of the Hydraxian Waterlords. While most elementals bound to Azeroth are hostile and chaotic, Hydraxis acts with measured purpose. As a devoted vassal of Neptulon the Tidehunter, he considers water the purest and most essential of the primal forces. He watches the rising turmoil across Azeroth with cold scrutiny, seeking champions capable of shifting the balance of elemental warfare.

Hydraxis's central campaign targets the blazing hosts of the Firelord, Ragnaros. He sees the encroachment of fiery elementals as a blight upon the world that must be extinguished. Before bestowing his trust or the tools needed to challenge Ragnaros's fiery stronghold in the Molten Core, Duke Hydraxis demands that mortals prove their strength, resilience, and loyalty by slaying hostile elementals across the continents. Those who prove their worth earn the blessings of the sea and the means to douse the sacred flames guarding the Firelord's domain.
