Wendigo Mane
Wendigo Manes are the thick, shaggy coats harvested from the savage wendigos roaming the frozen crags of Dun Morogh. Coveted for their heavy insulation against the biting mountain chill, these coarse pelts are tough enough to line cabin floors or the iron cabins of dwarven warmachines.
Warmth for the Ironworks
The mountains of Dun Morogh are harsh and unyielding, prompting locals to make good use of the apex beasts stalking the snowdrifts. The coarse fur of a wendigo offers dense protection against bitter sub-zero drafts. Pilot Stonegear, stationed outside Kharanos, sends adventurers into the nearby Grizzled Den to gather these heavy manes. Rather than fashioning winter coats or cloaks, the eccentric pilot intends to weave them into a plush, insulating floor rug for the interior deck of his prized dwarven siege engine, Trollplow.
