Venomtail Poison Sac
A Venomtail Poison Sac is a biological organ harvested from scorpids native to the arid expanses of Durotar. While containing a virulent toxin capable of incapacitating an unwary hunter, it is also the vital ingredient required to brew an effective counter-agent.
A Deadly Toxin and Its Remedy
The scorpids prowling the red rocks of Durotar—chiefly the Venomtail Scorpid, alongside mutated varieties like the Corrupted Scorpid and the notorious Death Flayer—produce a fast-acting, debilitating venom. Stored within specialized tail sacs, this poison can quickly overwhelm even seasoned warriors if left untreated. Ironically, the very sacs that deliver this lethal sting contain the primary compounds necessary to synthesize an antidote. When the hunter Rhinag fell victim to a sting outside Orgrimmar, local alchemists required four fresh poison sacs to concoct the remedy needed to neutralize the venom coursing through his veins.
