Valdred's Hands
Valdred's Hands are the severed limbs of Valdred Moray, claimed after his death in southern Silverpine Forest. They are sought by Raleigh Andrean in the Undercity as a morbid trophy and proof of vengeance for the murder of his wife.
A Gruesome Trophy of Betrayal
Before the plague consumed Lordaeron, Valdred Moray and Raleigh Andrean were close friends. That bond was shattered when Valdred murdered Raleigh's wife, Deliah. Though Raleigh succumbed to death and arose as one of the Forsaken—professing an inability to genuinely grieve—the lingering hunger for retribution never left him. When Valdred attempted to flee southward past the Greymane Wall into Gilneas, Raleigh dispatched an emissary to end his former friend's flight, demanding his severed hands as definitive proof that the deed was done.
