Unidentified Ore

The Venture Company's relentless clear-cutting and strip mining in Windshear Crag tore deep into the crags of the Stonetalon Mountains, exposing unusual mineral strata. The site's new boss, Gerenzo Wrenchwhistle, ordered large amounts of a strange gold-green ore mined, and the demoted goblin worker Piznik, still loyal to his fired former boss Ziz Fizziks, secured a sample of it while plotting his exit from the outfit. Handed off to a traveler bound for the western ridge of the crag, the sample made its way into the hands of Ziz Fizziks, who planned to ship the prize back to Undermine for study, keeping a pocket-sized cut for personal profit.
