Tough Wolf Meat is raw game meat harvested from the predatory timber wolves and young wolves prowling Northshire Valley and Coldridge Valley. Though coarse and stringy, it serves as a staple ration for hungry locals like Eagan Peltskinner in Elwynn Forest and dwarven outfitters in Dun Morogh.

The wolves roaming the outskirts of Northshire Valley and Dun Morogh pose a constant menace to local settlements, but they also offer a gritty source of sustenance. Tough Wolf Meat is notoriously sinewy and chewy compared to prime game, yet resource-strapped frontiersmen prize it all the same. Outside Northshire Abbey, Eagan Peltskinner despises the beasts for their viciousness but happily cooks their meat into rustic steaks, eagerly trading basic supplies and gear to anyone willing to cull the packs.
