Tome of the Cabal (quest item)
The Tome of the Cabal is a grimoire entrusted to warlocks by Strahad Farsan on the bluffs overlooking Ratchet. It holds the perilous incantations necessary to pull a ravenous felhunter across the Twisting Nether and bind it to the summoner's will.
A Gateway to the Nether
Felhunters are vicious, mana-devouring beasts native to the chaotic expanse of the Twisting Nether. Subduing one is a rite of passage for seasoned warlocks, and the rituals required to tear open a pathway for such a beast are contained within the pages of the Tome of the Cabal. Strahad Farsan, an experienced conjurer operating out of Ratchet, provides the tome only after an aspirant has proven capable of gathering the rare and hazardous components needed to fuel its magics.
The Summoning Ritual
Summoning from the tome is far from a solo endeavor. Strahad establishes a primary summoning circle within his sanctum, while his acolytes employ rods of channeling to construct a greater protective boundary. The warlock must then recite the tome's exact incantations to drag the felhunter into our world, immediately battling and subduing the ravenous demon to cement their dominion over it.
