Thresher Eye

Off the misty shores of Darkshore, aquatic predators known as Darkshore Threshers hunt along the surf and outer shallows. While dangerous to local fishermen and travelers, these beasts possess large ocular organs that have drawn the peculiar interest of Wizbang Cranktoggle. Stationed nearby and deeply fond of crawler wine, the gnomish engineer demands these eyes as essential components to repair Buzzbox 411, one of his far-speaking communication machines, positioned on the beach north of Auberdine.

Wizbang never fully elaborates on how slimy sea-creature eyes repair delicate mechanical apparatuses, whether functioning as crude optical lenses, chemical agents, or esoteric biological gears. Regardless of the questionable engineering logic, feeding three of these harvested eyes into Buzzbox 411's maintenance hatch successfully restores the machine's comms link, allowing Wizbang to dispense rewards through static-choked transmissions.
