Stolen Silver

The vast wilds of the Barrens present constant threats to supply lines, but few expected the local Sunscale raptors to target strongboxes of metal currency. When a shipment of silver meant as payroll for the Crossroads garrison was stolen from the guard tower, the raptors dragged the lockbox back to their communal nests at the Raptor Grounds south of Ratchet. To overseers like Gazrog, the theft reveals an unsettling degree of cunning in the predators, who apparently value shiny trinkets or possess intelligence far beyond that of ordinary wild beasts.
