Worn on the sleeves of Scarlet Initiates and fresh converts alike, the Scarlet Armband is the unmistakable mark of the Scarlet Crusade. To the newly risen Forsaken emerging from Deathknell, these strips of red cloth represent a lethal threat right on their doorstep. The Crusade makes no distinction between the mindless minions of the Scourge and the free-willed subjects of the Dark Lady; in their eyes, any walking corpse must be put to the torch. Executor Arren uses the collection of these armbands as a grim rite of passage, confirming the deaths of enemy scouts southeast of the settlement and proving that new Forsaken can defend their fledgling nation.
