Recruitment Letter

As young warriors and scouts prove themselves around Razor Hill, the Horde's gaze turns west toward the vast, untamed expanse of the Barrens. Takrin Pathseeker identifies promising recruits who appear strong enough to handle frontline service and provides them with this letter. Crossing the Southfury River bridge marks a rite of passage: leaving the sheltered red dirt of Durotar behind to join the ranks of the Horde standing guard against quilboar, centaur, and Alliance scouts.

The letter's intended recipient is Kargal Battlescar, the grizzled veteran managing the outpost just across the river. Kargal evaluates each conscript before formally signing off on their enlistment. Yet holding this letter is only the first step; frontier outposts are perpetually stretched thin, and any signed recruit is swiftly redirected further west to the strategic hub of the Crossroads.
