Osric's Crate
Osric's Crate is a heavy package of freshly crafted armor dispatched from Stormwind to the struggling defenders of Sentinel Hill. Carried aboard a gryphon across the kingdom's flight network, it provides vital equipment to help the People's Militia hold Westfall against outlaw gangs.
Supplies for the Front
Westfall suffers under the predations of the Defias Brotherhood and marauding gnolls, while the Stormwind army remains absent. The local defenders, organized as the People's Militia at Sentinel Hill, lack the formal support of the crown and must rely on piecemeal supplies. Osric's Crate contains a fresh batch of protective armor sent from the capital to Quartermaster Lewis, intended to be parceled out directly to volunteer militia fighters on the ground.
Winged Courier Network
Transporting gear overland from Stormwind through Elwynn Forest and across the Westfall border is slow and fraught with bandit ambushes. To bypass the roads, the crate is entrusted to an adventurer flying via Dungar Longdrink's gryphon roost in Stormwind's Trade District down to Thor at Sentinel Hill. This swift delivery demonstrates the crucial role gryphons play in keeping frontier garrisons supplied during wartime.
