The waters feeding into the Great Tree yield catches of staggering proportions, prompting Nessa to send physical proof across the sea to Laird, a fish merchant operating along the docks of Auberdine. Transferred by way of the village's hippogryph master, Vesprystus, the parcel serves as practical evidence of Teldrassil's burgeoning vitality.

Upon inspecting the contents in Darkshore, Laird discovers that the specimens far outstrip their mainland counterparts. The collection contains jawbones nearly twice the size of fish native to the Darkshore coastline, along with individual scales as large as a clenched fist. For coastal night elves, the package provides a clear look at how drastically the waters around Teldrassil differ from the somber shores of northern Kalimdor.
