Intact Raptor Horn

While common hunters value raptor parts for hides, talons, and trophies, unbroken horns are harder to come by in the field. In the port town of Ratchet, an eccentric goblin alchemist named Mebok Mizzyrix has formulated a wild theory regarding local wildlife: because the raptors of the Barrens display cunning beyond their kin elsewhere, he suspects their intellect resides directly within their headgear. By grinding whole horns down and brewing them into tonic concoctions, Mebok aims to bottle this perceived genius into commercial 'smart drinks.'

Pristine horns cannot simply be chipped off any juvenile beast. To yield viable material for brewing, hunters must take them from particularly vicious predators, such as the Sunscale Scytheclaws that prowl the southern plains and the northern borders near Ashenvale. Notable legendary terrors of the veldt, such as Takk the Leaper and the elusive Ishamuhale, also bear horns stout enough to survive the clash of the hunt intact.
