Hildelve's Journal

When his steam tank broke down, dwarven pilot Hildelve left his partner Hammerfoot with the tanks and set out alone into the snow-swept crags of Dun Morogh in search of rumored chiron ore. According to the entries scrawled in his journal, he was stalked for days and then ambushed by a monstrous ice claw bear known as Mangeclaw. Though Hildelve fought bravely and managed to drive the beast off, he was left gravely mauled and stranded in the bitter cold. The journal details his agonizing final hours, concluding with a single, clear plea before the predator returned to finish him: that whoever discovered his body avenge his death by hunting down Mangeclaw.
