Head of Grimson
The Head of Grimson is the severed trophy taken from Grimson the Pale, the corrupted overseer of the Deep Elem Mine in Silverpine Forest. Brought to Dalar Dawnweaver at the Sepulcher, it serves as physical proof that the mine's leadership has been eliminated. Securing the mine allows the Forsaken to seize valuable mineral wealth to fuel Varimathras's military campaigns.
Securing the Deep Elem Mine
While Dalar Dawnweaver studies Archmage Arugal's shadowy enchantments from the safety of the Sepulcher, Forsaken scouts known as Darkstalkers identified a strategic threat brewing in the southeastern hills. Arugal's dark magic had seeped into the Deep Elem Mine, corrupting its workers and driving its overseer, Grimson the Pale, into madness. To secure the subterranean riches for Varimathras's forces, Dawnweaver dispatched champions to cut down Grimson and return with his severed head as undeniable confirmation of the mine's liberation from rogue magics.
