Gaffer Jack

Seeking peace and quiet away from the clattering forge-works and noisy taverns of Ironforge, gnome tinkerer Wizbang Cranktoggle booked passage aboard a ship bound for Auberdine. Having indulged in a bit too much drink during the ocean voyage, Wizbang managed to fumble and drop an entire container of gaffer jacks over the railing. These small mechanical fasteners sank into the misty coastal waters of Darkshore, leaving him stranded without the vital parts required to tune his stintle pegs.

Because gaffer jacks were spilled into the surf along the shoreline, they occasionally snag on the hooks of patient fishermen casting into the coastal waters of Darkshore. Recovering these lost components allows Wizbang to assemble his bizarre contraptions, though dredging tiny metal hardware out of the open sea remains a testament to both extraordinary patience and pure luck.
