Frostwolf Banner
The Frostwolf Banner is a tribal standard cached deep within Wildpaw Cavern in Alterac Valley. Horde initiates are sent to recover it as an ancestral rite of passage to awaken their battle spirit and earn their first clan insignia.
A Rite of Passage
For warriors of the Horde arriving in Alterac Valley, claiming true standing among the Frostwolf clan begins with a trial of grit. Warmaster Laggrond sends new recruits south into the damp, hostile corridors of Wildpaw Cavern, a den swarming with territorial gnolls. Reaching the banner hidden within their depths and returning it unbroken demonstrates courage, proving the warrior's battle rage has awakened and earning them the Frostwolf initiate's insignia.
