Fragments of Rok'Alim

Fragments of Rok'Alim are the shattered stone remains of a primeval earth elemental roaming the canyons of Thousand Needles. Brought to Dorn Plainstalker at the Weathered Nook, they serve as undeniable physical proof that a warrior has bested an ancient terror in single combat.

Remnants of an Ancient Power

While most elementals faded from Azeroth following the banishment of the Old Gods, a handful possessed enough raw power to endure on the surface without being summoned by mortal magic. Rok'Alim the Pounder is one such survivor, wandering the canyon flats south of the main thoroughfare. Local centaur know him by the thunderous crashes of his stony fists pulverizing anything foolish enough to wander into his path. Striking down this living remnant of the primordial world yields jagged pieces of dense, animated rock—a trophy fit to prove unmatched physical prowess.

The Trial of Might

For the tauren hermit Dorn Plainstalker, recovering the fragments is the decisive component of the Test of Strength. As part of a series of spiritual and martial rites conducted high within the Weathered Nook, the trial demands that an initiate face an entity of unyielding brute force. Delivering the battered rubble of Rok'Alim proves that an adventurer possesses the bravery and physical might required to survive the harshest perils of Kalimdor.
