Flatland Cougar Femur

The flatland cougar is one of Mulgore's most dangerous native stalkers, blending seamlessly with the dry brush until it springs upon unsuspecting prey. While hunters often harvest cougar pelts and claws for leatherworking and trophies, their heavy marrow-rich bones possess practical value in regional medicine. When Maur Raincaller, a tauren of Bloodhoof Village, suffered a venomous wound from the monstrous pink strider Mazzranache, he urgently requested a cougar femur alongside parts from other local beasts. The bone is crushed or boiled to extract its potent properties, forming an antitoxin poultice capable of drawing fever and necrotic venom out of a festering bite.
