Fangore's Paw
Fangore's Paw is the severed hand of Lieutenant Fangore, a commanding officer among the Shadowhide gnolls in the Redridge Mountains. It serves as gruesome proof of the gnoll chieftain's demise for Magistrate Solomon in Lakeshire. The grim bounty was placed to dismantle the warlord's threat against the besieged township.
Trophy of a Fallen Chieftain
Lieutenant Fangore acts as a primary field commander for the Shadowhide gnolls encroaching across the Redridge Mountains. Operating in direct service to the renegade mage Morganth, Fangore directs violent assaults against trade roads, outlying farms, and the defenses around Lake Everstill. Because gnoll raiders do not leave traditional uniforms, official seals, or banners to confirm their casualties, the township authorities rely on grim physical evidence. Magistrate Solomon specifically demanded Fangore's paw as unmistakable proof of his execution, allowing the town of Lakeshire to breathe slightly easier amid mounting surrounding perils.
