Faded Shadowhide Pendant
A tarnished talisman once worn by the Shadowhide gnolls of Redridge, enchanted to serve as a conduit for dark orders. To the astonishment of whoever holds it, the pendant also carries a delayed magical message cast by the wizard Theocritus.
A Broken Network
The Shadowhide gnolls roaming the Redridge Mountains answer to a sinister master named Morganth, coordinating their movements through enchanted pendants. While investigating these talismans from his sanctuary at Tower Azora, the High Mage Theocritus devised an experimental spell to breach their mystical frequency. Though his magical broadcast took weeks to manifest, this faded pendant proved that the gnolls' communication line can be hijacked, opening a path to disrupt their dark master's reach.
